Body Blast Fitness studio offers group training and personal training sessions in a friendly, supportive environment. For those who need personalized programs and would like to train in a more intimate and private setting, than a noisy, crowded gym, our PT sessions will be the right fit for you. Check out our class list below. group sessions are a very affordable and fun way to train. You will have the opportunity to socialize and make friends while crushing your fitness goals at the same time!
Points of difference
Our studio is a mummy-friendly studio. You are welcome to bring your children with you. As mummies, we have very little time for ourselves. The healthier and happier we are as individuals, the better we can carry out the roles of mother, wife, friend, employee, etc. Here at Body Blast, we don't want there to be any obstacles between you and your fitness goals. So bring your little ones along on your super-mum journey.
Although we run group classes, the classes usually are kept at around 6 people. This is so that the trainer can effectively keep an eye on everyone, cater to everyone's needs and provide an expert level of guidance.
As well as PT and group sessions, we offer family packages and friend packages. The family package can be an affordable and fun way for the whole family to get fit and the friend package is great for those who would like to train with friends and split the costs.
Along with all the other classes that we offer, we also offer specialized training for youths (13-17) and seniors (55+).
We offer single sessions, bundles of group sessions or PT and we also offer ongoing sessions. You can be with us for any length of time that you want. There are no joining fees or lock in contracts and our free trial is just that, a free trial. There is no obligation to join.
Here at Body Blast we are interested in the whole person. We will offer you nutritional advice to support your fitness journey, we will offer you exercise programs for the days that we don't see you and we will be there to support you during your whole fitness journey.

The Story Behind Body Blast
My name is Maria and I am the owner and main trainer at Body Blast Studio. The reason I created this studio was to give everyone the opportunity, no matter what their circumstances, to improve their health and wellbeing. I find that the majority of trainers charge so much that people cannot afford PT or can only afford it once a week. My goal is to keep prices affordable, so that people can train at least 3 times a week. They need to train often enough, so that it makes a difference to the way that they look and feel and so that they can achieve their goals. People who are comfortable in a group setting can also blend PT with group sessions, so that they can get the max training time at a more affordable price.
I am a mum and so I understand how hard it is to find time to train, especially with young children. Children are welcome on our premises. It is a quiet, safe environment and you can even come during your child's nap time. It is impossible for mums to find time to get themselves back into shape after having babies and yet it is the most important time for them to strengthen their core and balance their hormones. By giving mums a safe space to bring their children and affordable sessions hopefully they take the opportunity to get back to their best self in a guiltfree, comfortable fashion.
Another reason people often stay away from exercise is that they have health issues. Whatever your health issue is, I can work around it. In my own fitness journey, I have had to deal with many health issues and have found a way to train around them.
To tell you a little about myself, I am 47 years old, Greek, married with two kids and I moved to Australia in 2013. My children were 1 and 5 and I had no help. My husband worked from 7am-7pm and I put myself and my health on the backburner. Fastforward to 10 years later and I didn't like who I was anymore. I had put on weight and would pant going up a flight of stairs. I decided to make a change and took up training again. I started to study to become a personal trainer and I got my cert 3 and cert 4. I lost 15 kilos quite rapidly through diet and exercise. That fat loss saved my life. When the fat melted away a breast lump was revealed. I had breast cancer. It turned out that I was stage 2 and that I had 5 lumps in my right breast. I had a double mastectomy, with lymph node removal, and started treatment. On the day after my surgery, I was told that I would be lucky if I could get up and walk to the toilet after my 6.5-hour surgery. I did not accept this. I got up with my iv attached and tubes coming out of my chest, and I went and did laps around the ward. Eventually the nurses chased me to get back into bed! I left the hospital the morning after my surgery. I went home and did 200 squats and walked on the treadmill for 30 mins. I wasn't trying to be tough; I just didn't want to lose myself. What got me through everything was my training. I had been training so hard and my mind was so disciplined that I was able to get through quite a difficult experience. When I went back to training, I had to learn to train around my chest and armpit areas and I did. The cancer medication messed with my hormones and caused weight gain, but I kept pushing through. Down the line, I had to have foot surgery that left me with nerve pain in my feet. I had to adjust from being a runner to doing lower impact Hiit sessions. The intensity was the same. Recently I had to have a hysterectomy, to prevent endometrial cancer and to put an end to adenomyosis. This pushed me into menopause. The reason I am sharing all this is not for a pat on the back but to show you that whether you have just had a baby and want to get fit, whether you are going through menopause, whether you have health problems or not, I can understand and support you through all of those things. Female bodies going through menopause and female bodies after giving birth, need a very specific kind of exercise, just like teenagers need age-appropriate exercise and seniors need exercises tailored to their ages and specific health conditions.
At Body Blast training our goal is to guide and support everyone, so that they can be the best versions of themselves. I know that at 47, despite all the health obstacles in my path, I am stronger and fitter than I was in my 30s.
Having said all this about women and women's bodies, men are welcome at Body Blast Fitness too. We have boys in the youth program and a few men in some of the groups, some groups are women only. Families are welcome to train together, and PT group sessions can be set up for mum, dad and kids. Please contact us to tell us about your family and what your needs would be. It is not a one size fits all situation, so we organize those sessions on a case-by-case basis.
